You have reached the Parallel City: Fabric. You can see clips from the last time Flóra was seen in the neighborhood. In 2002, Flóra disappears without a trace. 20 years later, her daughter, Agnes – not a teenager anymore – is still looking for her. Will you help?
The theater plays The Parallel City: Iosefin (2021), The Parallel City: Fabric (2022) and The Parallel City: Elisabetin (2023) are part of a trilogy made by the Theater Director Ana Mărginean and by the Playwright Peca Ștefan, a series of immersive theater plays, based on a documentation made in the three historic neighborhoods which leads the spectator through fictional stories. In these stories, the spectator is immersed in a parallel world where he is guided by actors to see the neighbourhood/the city through different filters, through an intense and unique experience.

This year, the immersive experience has two components: a performative part (the play) and an exploratory part (through the Application), both providing clues to solve the mystery of a disappearance, the plot of Parallel City: Fabric.

The performative play will take place on the Bega river, on the ship, then in an interconnected labyrinth created at the Reformed Center "Noul Mileniu".

The play Orasul Paralel: Fabric is part of the Urban Dilemmas project: The Parallel City, developed by the Cultural Association Diogene, in co-production with Hungarian State Theater of ,,Csiky Gergely and with German State Theater Timisoara, in collaboration with The Polytechnic University of Timisoara, supported by The Reformed Center New Millennium, The Society of Public Transport Timisoara and CiviCultura.

The project is part of the Cultural Program "Timisoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture" and is financed by the Municipality of Timisoara through the Center of Projects.
